Receiving unsolicited offers of insurance or financial products after you opt out
Complaint: On XX.XX.19 I applied for a debt relief product of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Account Executive #1 (name XXXX XXXX) after explaining how I was flooded with credit cards and personal debt after falling behind on some bills during XXXX XXXX XXXX. I tried negotiating with these companies, until I got my finances, but received little help, so I looked for finances that could help me get back on track. XXXX told me that credit card companies are as diligent about working with consumers as his company would be. I was informed that I would be debt free in four years and would save a lot of money by letting this company take care of my creditors and debts. After doing my credit check, he came up with a solution supposedly to get rid of my debt and reduce my credit cards and high interest loans, I decided that the information he gave me sounded good and that I could finally pay off my debt, which he did not tell me what it meant Information disclosed to a second and third company #2 Klar Eins Advantage LLC, this company has a document with my signature that I do not authorize #3 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX (Save Processing Company, this company takes the money from my bank account, they also have my signature (electronically signed and initialed) on documents I don't know what they mean, along with unknown charges This company is listed under: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX OK XXXX (Clear One is located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX MD XXXX/ and XXXX XXXX XXXX is located at: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Ca XXXX I was never informed that my information is being shared with other companies, since I later found out I laughed that I tried to contact Mr. XXXX several times, no response My name is being used without my permission, information for which I have not consented or I do not have I do not know if my signature and initials are not authorized with this unknown company They are taking advantage of the consumer and this is a huge scam I called and emailed today to inquire about this product that I am on my to cancel three days from XX.XX.19 but Mr XXXX never told me when he read the contract that night and it has all the inconsistencies and i found out in claims processing it takes someone to stop this scam with this type of business as a consumer already in a bind with bills its not fair to let these businesses take advantage.

Complaint: As of XX/XX/XXXX, I paid a fee to Clear One Advantage for providing services to restore my credit. This agency has not contacted any of my debtors to inform them that Clear One Advantage is representing me. My debt continues to mount as I wait for Clear One Advantage to help me pay off my debtors. When I informed Clear One of this increase in my debt, they told me that I had to pay them {$15000.00} before they could help me pay off my debtors. Your contract is designed to fit the company, not the customer. I was charged a monthly fee of {$220.00} from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. This company has not informed that I pay installments to the 3 credit bureaus. This could have helped my credit score if they had reported it to the credit bureaus. I had numerous problems trying to log into my account using Clear One Advantage.

Problem with customer service

Credit report, credit repair service or other personal consumer report: credit repair service

Complaint: On XX/XX/2014 I hired this company called Clear One Advantage/XXXX XXXX XXXX to help me consolidate payments to five creditors. I should have known something was wrong when I received documents under the name of another company. The representative assured me that his team is working with them to be able to make lower payments. The representative told me to NEVER take calls from creditors to explain anything, as the person he is calling probably does not know that Clear One Advantage is working with the company behind the scenes. My credit was good XXXX and NONE of my payments were late. In fact, he had a perfect payment history with all of them. I was going through some tough times and wanted to be proactive to keep my credit rating intact. Clear One received payments from me. Several months went by during which I was assured that things were fixed... and then I found out that NOTHING was happening because this fraudulent company WAS HOPING my debt to not pay so they could save the day. All the payments I sent them stayed put, nothing went to the creditors. By the time I realized what was happening to me, it was already too late. My debt went into charge status and there was nothing I could do. My great credit is down over 200 points. I suffered from XXXX and hopelessness. What have I done wrong? I researched this company, saw good reviews, did more research, did everything I could. I finally confronted this company a few months later and was conveniently told that the representative they assigned me abruptly resigned. Nobody helped me. They made me rot and be among those who are subprime targets. All those years of perfect credit.

The reporting company used your report inappropriately
Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I contacted Clearone Advantage to try to get help in lowering the interest rate on my credit card. When I talked to the customer service representative of XXXX XXXX, I felt a little uncomfortable because of the personal questions he asked me, such as SSN, address, etc. Debt settlement. I was not willing to go through with a debt consolidation plan or have the company do a credit report, but I felt pressured by the representative. Instead of giving him my personal information that he asked for, he said that he had a copy of the credit report available and read my personal information to confirm it. This was surprising because I did NOT agree to ClearOne drawing my balance. After our call, I received notifications from the credit bureaus about the difficult application. I was very upset and felt that the investigation should be removed since I never gave permission to remove the report.

Complaint: I enrolled in a Direct Debit billing program with Clear One Advantage / XXXX XXXX XXXX. If they accepted the program, they could settle two accounts for me for a monthly payment of {$580.00}. That was it. You do all the work. Sounds good to me so I went ahead. After several months of monthly withdrawals from my bank account, Clear One Advantage contacts me and tells me that they have made a settlement on one of my accounts. To receive severance pay, I must pay an additional {$310.00} per month for two years, which brings my monthly payment to {$900.00}. Definitely not what I signed up for, but they sure are good at tricking you into it. I then received an email from a liquidation agent. I expressed my concerns about the additional monthly payment and he explained that you do not have to pay that additional monthly amount. I repeated it 5 times by email and said that if I have to pay this extra amount, I don't agree. She said that you are good, that you do not need extra money. 20 days later she calls me and tells me that I made a mistake. She must make this additional monthly payment. I said I don't agree and I'm not going to pay for it. XX/XX/XXXX the additional {$310.00} was debited from my bank. I emailed my dissatisfaction, requesting that I be removed from the program and making multiple requests for a full refund. They respond with: I owe {$10.00}. I have paid thousands.

Complaint: In XXXX 2016, I tried to file for bankruptcy to pay off credit card debt. Instead, I opted for a credit relief program. I spoke with XXXX XXXX at Clear One Advantage and agreed that they would withdraw {$430.00} from my checking account each month to process statements and pay off 4 credit cards. These cards were XXXX XXXX XXXX - {$2700.00}, XXXX XXXX XXXX - {$1800.00}, XXXX XXXX, {$15000.00} and XXXX XXXX XXXX - {$7300.00} (all amounts have been rounded up). Since the start of this program, over {$5600.00} has been withdrawn from my account. My contract was transferred from Clear One Advantage to XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have not received a bank statement from any of these companies telling me how this money was distributed, although I have contacted all 3. I have received notifications from XXXX and XXXX telling me charges have been made; however, when I call each of the 4 credit cards, I find that they have not paid anything. XXXX told me that both XXXX XXXX XXXX cards were paid off and that I should call the bank to get a "settlement letter". The bank had never heard of a settlement letter and told me it didn't pay the other two cards. Where did my {$5600.00} go? Why are they refusing to send me a statement? Why did my account go from Clear One to XXXX to XXXX? And why can't I get a straight answer from any of the cards and you? I think I've been scammed and I want my account to stop being debited automatically. But what are the legal consequences for me? I talked to a lawyer about it, but I can't pay allowance 1. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX and I have to pay social security. I am being lied to and scammed by these so called "Credit Relief" companies. Could you help me?
